After the 1 year warranty is over, they don’t want to know you and you are SOL. If you want to buy a new one each year, then Ava is for you. It is not a long term solution.
I purchased the first model and it was great at the beginning but the loops would break off and I had the circular piece fall off on the back so it was unusable. Customer Service was responsive and sent me new loops and a new Ava which I appreciated. A few months later, I encountered more issues with the loops breaking off which was annoying. This happened a few more times.
I then received an e-mail notifying me of the upgraded Ava, a new version, which had a buzzing feature for an alarm which I thought was great, so I ordered it. I felt that the older model was more comfortable but I liked that the newer model had more features. Sure enough the loop issue started happening with the new model as well. They sent me some new ones. Recently the buckle area of the band broke off and I cannot wear the bracelet at all. I was very disappointed especially since I am very careful with things, I am not rough with anything. I contacted customer support and was told I was outside of the warranty period and their solution was for me to order a new one. Really!?!?! So I can have a third Ava. I guess I can start collecting them ????. What a ridiculous remedy!!! They are putting a manufacturer's defect onto the customer. Cheap bands with constant issues are the consumer’s problem and not the manufacturer’s problem??? I asked if I could purchase a new band and was told no, that I would have to purchase an entire new Ava. I then asked if I could use the first older version that I purchased and still had and the customer service representative said that is a great idea so I charged the older one and wore it for the night and when I went to plug it in and sync, it said that it was locked. I contacted customer service yet again and was then told since I upgraded, it would not be possible to unlock the old one since it has been deactivated…really!?!? Absolutely ridiculous. The only remedy is to buy a third Ava. What a joke!
If I could go back in time, I would have NEVER purchased Ava. I would have purchased the Clearblue Easy digital system and purchased an Apple Watch or a Fitbit for sleep tracking, alarm etc. Ladies, don’t buy Ava and go with my recommendation so that you don’t have to experience these headaches. Both of my Ava’s are going in the trash!!!
The app is terrible. It’s difficult to track appropriately. The predictions aren’t actually predictions because they often change to past dates which is less than helpful.

Ava has a lot of sync issues. I would not recommend for the price.
I'd seen Ava advertised a few times throughout the years my husband and I had been trying for a baby but I always put it off because of its cost thinking I'd find other ways of tracking my cycles. My husband and I had both been told we were fine and therefore had unexplained infertility and after doing everything the books and friends said, a failed attempt at clomid and only IVF to go as an option this year, I revisited my options and spoke to a third party friend who had experienced the same journey as myself. She as a last attempt got the Ava and in the end encouraged me to do the same.
Now, I wasn't under any illusion that it would be the answer to all my problems but it gave me an accurate insight into what my body was telling me. I was also able to share this with my husband who had no clue about the female cycle.
On our second month using Ava, we got pregnant. It's a miracle.
Ava was very reassuring and accurate. Simple to use and although I know it's not the reason WHY I got pregnant after 3 years, but I'm personally sure it contributed to me relaxing because I knew more about my body.
Thank you Ava. You were worth every penny.
I enjoyed all the data that Ava displayed. It also took the guesswork out of trying to determine my fertile window which decreased a lot of stress for me. At times I did doubt it’s accuracy because it constantly readjusted. At the same time, that might be a sign of just how accurate it was. The bracelet was a bit harsh on my wrist skin and I had to put fabric between my band and skin. I got sores when I didn’t do this and had to switch between wrists and occasionally take breaks from using it. Overall it was an okay product but I don’t necessarily know that I would purchase again.
My husband and I struggled for 8 years to conceive our 1st. We thought we'd order the Ava bracelet when we were 4 months away from starting IUI. We were pregnant within 3 months. Ava was able to detect a subtle difference with my ovulation days. We are now pregnant with our 2nd. We are so thankful for this technology!

My husband and I were trying to conceive for about 9 months when we decided to purchase Ava. Within two cycles after purchasing I became pregnant. Unfortunately, that ended in a missed miscarriage. I am now on month 8 of using Ava and just learned I am pregnant again.
It is brilliant. I just did a test and am pregnant. Ava helped me to pin point my ovulation and it was aligned with LH surge which was checking seperately. Also rising temperature every month was giving me assurance I definitely ovulate.
Thank you????
Ava was mostly helpful and interesting for sure. It was only matching my opks one cycle of 4 usually about 3 or 4 days off for ovulation. So the fertile window was close, but yeah not sure how much it actually helped me achieve pregnancy. The data is interesting and I loved seeing at the trends each cycle. Overall I'm happy I purchased it and will use it to track pregnancy and future TTC ventures.
The Ava bracelet made me more stressed by looking at these nightly parameters. It also rarely could confirm my ovulation, which made my cycle data off by almost a week. It didn’t confirm ovulation he cycle that I actually got pregnant, and I was diligent about wearing it every night for over 4 months previous. I wish I never purchased this expensive watch.
We tried to get pregnant for a year and 3 months!! When I finally found Ava it wasn’t long at all till we finally got pregnant!! It gives you your most accurate fertile days with out having to take ovulation test! You can make sure all your levels are in the right spot when trying to conceive it made me much more at peace!! Now our second baby is on the way!! Thanks Ava team. And Lindsay for creating this!
My husband and I had been trying for a year. I had been using multiple tracking apps as well as self testing. No such luck. It was becoming discouraging and thoughts of infertility help were beginning to consume us. We had heard so much about the Ava Bracelet, just hadn’t dove into that yet. We decided to make the investment. I started wearing it on the first day of my cycle (October 2nd) every night. On 11dpo I was anxious since my charts were beginning to make me think we were successful - so I tested. 3 different times. All were plain as day positive. It just came down to our timing wasn’t exactly right according to my other tracking. Thanks to Ava, one cycle of wearing it did the trick! My husband and I are now firm believers and most definitely recommend trying it out when you’re about to lose hope!
Just got my second BFP with Ava! This bracelet has made the whole process so much easier. I suffer from severe endometriosis and it has been a rough journey.
